Marylin Bowett, owner and founder of Tranquility at the Gatehouse, is a qualified professional beauty therapist who studied at Colchester College. After completing her NVQ Level 2 and 3 (and VTCT) in 1998 she went on to work for a local beauty salon (Regis) where she found her passion for electrical facials and massage. She took the initiative to go self employed 5 years later, when the Tranquility was founded, initially established in Spain.

Marylin is extremely committed and passionate and has continued to train and develop her skills throughout her career as a beauty therapist and has also completed courses in; epilation, ear piecing, OPI, Sothy’s (facials and skincare) over the course of the last decade.
